Mr RC Misra is the former Chairman of the Central Board of Excise and Customs, and holds a Master's degree in Arts and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Delhi.

With over 40 years of experience, he is now serving in the civil services of the Government of India and is an expert on direct and indirect taxation, and corporate laws.

He joined India Glycols in 1988 and is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Investors’ Grievance Committee of the company.
