Mr Autar Krishna is an industrialist and holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from St Stephens College, New Delhi, and GM Mech (E), London. He has over 35 years of experience in the steel and engineering industry.

He is the founder promoter of Saksoft Ltd and The Sak Industries Ltd (TSIL). He has also promoted Widia (India) Limited, a joint venture with Meturit AG, Switzerland, a subsidiary of Friedrich Krupp GmbH. Besides these, he serves as the Chairman of Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society.

He joined India Glycols in 1999 as an Independent Director. He serves as a Director of Saksoft Ltd and Panasonic AVC Networks India Co Ltd.
